Pretending He’s Mine is a companion novella in the CAUGHT UP IN US series and it follows Reeve, a minor character in Caught Up In Us. But rest assured – Jill has a vital part in Pretending He’s Mine and both Kat & Bryan have key scenes! Pretending He’s Mine is different than Caught Up In Us in some ways. Caught Up In Us is about falling in love again, and not just any kind of love, but big, epic, over-the-moon love. In Pretending He’s Mine the characters have an “arrangement” and must sort out whether true feelings start to stem from the arrangement, so while Caught Up In Us is about falling in love, Pretending He’s Mine is about “falling in like.” It’s about the start of romance, the beginning of a relationship, those first few delirious “does he or doesn’t he like me” moments…
Pretending He’s Mine is also set in New York City and there’s a movie theme in this book too – a bigger one! Reeve is an actor vying for a role in a film and Sutton is a casting director. Sooooo…let’s talk about movies! Oscars are coming up this weekend, and that seems a good reason to chat about films.
